Andrew in Richmond is 41-50 and is a Science Outreach Manager.

- What's your first memory of London? Going to Natural History and London Transport museums with my dad, and chasing pigeons at Trafalgar Square.
- What do you miss when you're away from London? Black taxis whenever you need them.
- What's your favourite neighbourhood? South Bank.
- What's your favourite building? Natural History Museum.
- What's your ideal day out in London? Museums with family.
- What's your ideal night out in London? Theatre followed by Chinese meal.
- What's your most hated building? Don't have one.
- What's your favourite open space? Green park.
- What's your favourite bar, pub or restaurant? Keeps changing, as they do. Has been Chimes in Pimlico, and a subterranean folk place (now defunct) near Tin Pan Alley where David Bowie used to hang out. Oh help! I can't remember its name.
- What's the most interesting shop? Vinmags - a film memorabilia shop which always seemed to be playing music by the bonzo dog doo dah band.
- What's been your most memorable night out in London? Between an evening class in North London and the first train home from Waterloo with lots if walking and looking at things inbetween. My book on how to write lyrics said something about experiencing things, one of which was staying up all night in a city so it was by design.
- How would you like to spend your ideal day off in London? With my lovely wife and daughter walking round parks and interesting places.
- Where would you take someone visiting from out of town? Hampton Court Palace.
- What's the worst journey you've had to make in London? One rush hour tube trip when there was an electricity failure and the lights went out and it got very hot. Nobody talked to each other of course.
- What's your personal London landmark? Cleopatra's needle because it's older than London. Frankly we ought to return it though.
- Who's your favourite fictional Londoner? Sherlock Holmes.
- What's your favourite London film, book or documentary? Passport to Pimlico.
- If you could travel to any time period in London, past or future, where would you go? Very happy when I am.
- For you, who is the ultimate Londoner? The bloke who used to wander around wearing a giant board which read 'eat less protein'. He must be dead now. I wonder how a lower protein diet affected his lifespan.
