Tom Pietrasik

Tom Pietrasik is a British filmmaker and photographer based in New York City where he works for editorial and corporate clients. Having spent ten years living and working in India, Tom has a strong affinity for South Asia and continues to travel there regularly. His films have featured on the Guardian and New York Times website and he produces short videos for UN agencies and international NGOS. His first film, "Saloon", a 3 minute glimpse into the world of the Indian barber shop, was shortlisted for the 2011 Virgin Media Shorts Competition. "Saloon" was also part of the official selection for the London Short Film Festival 2012, the Atlanta Film Festival 2012 and the Florida Film Festival 2012. You can see more of Tom's work here.
