30 years ago, during what she expected to be a routine visit to the paediatrician, Lorraine discovered that her young son suffered from Cerebral Palsy. From this moment on her life changed forever. Already well known in the community through her work as a manicurist, Lorraine started to work hard to help both her son and other young disabled people in the area through work with various charities. This work has even led her to speak in front of the House of Lords, championing causes close to her heart.
