Nadia started rowing whilst studying for her Masters in Environmental Sciences in Scotland one year ago. She soon fell in love with the sport, the idea of being so close to nature and the team spirit involved. When she moved back to London and her home in Bexley she quickly joined Erith rowing club to carry on her new found passion. In this film Nadia takes us on a trip up the more industrial East End of the River Thames. She talks us through how she sees the city since she moved here from Moscow 6 years ago, what it’s like to be on one of the world’s most famous rivers and the sights that she sees along her route.
