Londoner #139 | Gareth, the man behind the world famous Southbank Second Hand Book Stall

Most Londoner’s will be familiar with the the book seller on the South Bank. His name is Gareth and his main fear is that one day digital book sales with surpass print and he will be forced to leave the market and “get a real job”. Gareth’s favourite purchase is a reclining camping chair, which has upgraded his role at the market considerably; he now no longer needs to stand up all day and can enjoy sleeping away the days at his stall whilst, occasionally, ranting at passing celebrities.
